Why now
Three things have lined up at once. Good product data, long a nice-to-have for brands, is becoming a legal requirement under the EU's Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation. AI can now read a brand's own product data and answer a customer in plain language. And the barcode on the box is quietly being redrawn as a 2D code under the GS1 Sunrise 2027 plan. TalkPod is the platform we built for the moment all three met.

Where we are
The platform is shipped and the architecture is running. We're in active conversation with first-cohort customers across specialist retail, trade distribution, and brands preparing for the EU Digital Product Passport, and the first pilot is close. Our trust posture is published in full, and a Data Processing Agreement is ready for any conversation that needs one.
The platform runs as a four-stage loop: Ingest, Validate, Serve, Improve. That's the shape of where TalkPod is heading: more places to read your data from, more categories covered as the EU publishes them, and the testing that keeps every answer honest. The full picture is on how it works.
