The Product Operating System

Let your products
do the talking.

Your products already know where they were made, what they're made of, how to care for them. TalkPod lets them say so, wherever your customer happens to be asking.

How a pod moves

What happens between your data and your customer.

A pod is a conversational unit attached to a single product. We connect each one to the data you already hold, then make it reachable on the label, on the site, in store, and over messaging. Same pod, same answers, every surface.

A live pod

Ask the product a question.

Below is a real product pod on a real brand's data. Ask it anything about where it came from, what it's made of, or how to care for it.

Hello. I'm a Renew Fleece Jumper from Northmere. Ask me where I was made, what I'm made of, how to care for me, or anything else you want to know.

2027
Why now

Two deadlines are about to land on the same square.

By 2027, textiles entering the EU need a Digital Product Passport, with electronics, furniture, batteries and the rest following by 2030. The same year, GS1's Sunrise 2027 programme finishes moving every retail barcode from a one-dimensional stripe to a two-dimensional QR.

Between them, they force every product into the world with structured, machine-readable data behind a scannable code. That data was always going to be generated for compliance. What's new is that generative interfaces can now take the same dataset and serve it as a conversation, making every product able to sell itself, support its owner and explain itself from the shelf to end of life.

Compliance creates the data. The pod turns it into a channel.

A day in the life of a product

One pod. Every moment that matters.

Follow a Renew Fleece Jumper from the shelf to end-of-life. Every scan reaches the same pod. What changes is the question the customer is holding the product to ask.

1

At the shop

> what's this made from?

Recycled plastic bottles, cleaned and spun into a soft fleece in Catalonia. The finished fabric is independently certified as 100% recycled.

Revenue

A question answered at the shelf is often the difference between a sale and a walk-away.

2

At home, laundry day

> can I put it in the machine?

Wool cycle at 30°C, inside out, no fabric softener. Softener coats the fibres and kills the loft.

Savings

The right answer at home is a support ticket that never gets opened.

3

At end of life

> how do i recycle this?

Post it back free via the Worn Again programme. Fibres are shredded and respun into new fleece. Your old jumper becomes someone else's next winter.

Compliance

A product that can explain its own end-of-life closes the loop as the customer does.

Pod your products.

If you've got a catalogue, a Digital Product Passport on the horizon, or customers asking the same questions on repeat, we'd like to talk.
