The data you need for a Digital Product Passport, the materials, provenance, recycled content and end-of-life routes, exists somewhere in your organisation already. Most of it is in your PIM, your ERP, or a working spreadsheet. The question isn't whether you have it. It's whether you can get it into the right structure, at a stable URL, in time for 2027. That's what TalkPod does.
What we actually do
Four steps to a passport that holds up.

Read your data where it lives.
We connect to your PIM, ERP, ecommerce platform, or spreadsheet directly. Nothing migrates, nothing has to be re-keyed. When you update a product spec, the passport sees it.

Map it to the published schema.
We run each product record against the category schema, textiles-2027 for apparel, machinery-2028 for equipment, with more categories as the delegated acts are published. Each record gets a completeness score and a clear list of what's missing, not a status that says "complete" when it isn't.

Publish it at a stable URL.
Every passport lives at a permanent URL, readable by a customer on their phone and by an auditor running a verification check. The same record resolves under the GS1 Digital Link convention, so the QR on your label points straight to it.

Log every change.
Every edit to a passport field is recorded with a timestamp and attribution. If someone asks what changed and when, you can show them exactly.
Where we stand
Start before the rules are final.
The ESPR textile delegated act is in preparation, expected to be adopted around 2027. Compliance follows roughly eighteen to twenty-four months after that, so in practice late 2028 or 2029, with the final field list confirmed closer to the act. TalkPod's schemas track the published delegated acts and update with them. We don't pretend to have a definitive field list for categories where the act isn't finalised, and we don't charge clients for false certainty.
What we do is get your data foundation in place so that when the act is confirmed, compliance becomes an execution task rather than a discovery project. The brands that wait for the final specification before starting are the ones in trouble in 2027. We work with the published material now, update as it hardens, and keep you ahead of the timeline rather than behind it.

Audit trail
Every change, on the record.
DPP compliance isn't a snapshot. Regulators and procurement teams want to see what changed, when, and who made the call. Every TalkPod passport carries a full field-level change history: timestamped, attributed, and reversible. If a materials declaration changes because a supplier updated their spec, that change is logged, dated, and visible to the compliance team. You're not piecing it together from email threads.
