John Paul has spent more than twenty years leading digital delivery for large brands, and runs Human Kind, an independent studio working on digital strategy, AI and sustainability. His time with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, and on the UN System Staff College's Circular Economy and the 2030 Agenda programme, laid the foundations for TalkPod's approach to Digital Product Passports.

Why we built TalkPod
Understanding how and where the products we use daily have been produced is one of the biggest opportunities to drive circular and sustainable behaviours, whilst also helping businesses provide better service and customer care.
The EU is now turning that into law, one product category at a time. We didn't want to build just another box-ticking tool for it. So we made the same record do more: it answers your customers in their own language, on the label or on their phone, and turns the little QR on the box into something worth scanning. Do the work once, and it keeps paying you back.
