What this connection does
Turn Magento / Adobe Commerce into a conversation customers can have.
- Configurable products and their variant relationships come through as relationships, not as flattened SKUs
- Multi-store views are respected, so a Magento setup with separate UK and DE storefronts produces UK and DE pod answers
- Customer group pricing and tier rules apply on the asking customer when the conversation has authenticated context
- Custom attributes (which is where many Magento sites carry their distinctive product data) are first-class
How it connects
REST or GraphQL API.
Magento and Adobe Commerce both expose REST and GraphQL. We typically prefer GraphQL because it lets us pull exactly the field set the pod needs, which keeps the cost down on busy stores. The connector reads products, configurable variants, categories and your custom attributes.
