How it connects
REST API or scheduled export.
The Akeneo REST API is what we lean on, with a scheduled export as a fallback if your instance is locked down. We pull product entities, attribute groups and the localised values, and that's enough for the pod to start answering. Larger Akeneo instances may want us to subscribe to events for near-real-time freshness.
