The Product Operating System

Let your products
do the talking.

Your products already know where they were made, what they're made of, how to care for them. TalkPod lets them answer, when it matters.

For brands, trade distributors and specialist retailers with technical product data.

What a pod is

A pod plugs your product into every channel a customer uses.

Each one is a conversational unit attached to a single product. We wire it up to whatever data you've already got and make it reachable wherever your customer happens to be looking, whether that's the label on the box, your site, the in-store kiosk, or WhatsApp. When they ask a question, the pod answers in your product's voice.

01 Conversation

Ask the product a question.

Type a real question and the product will answer in a couple of seconds, drawing on the data the brand has given it. You can ask about anything you'd want to know before buying one or after using one for a while, from how it's made to how to look after it, and if the data doesn't cover it the pod will tell you so rather than guess.

Hi. I'm a Forgewell HD 130 Pro pressure washer. Pressure, flow, what I'll handle on a job, accessories, fault-finding. Anything you'd usually have to ring the trade desk for.

The same pod, all the way through a product's life.

  • At the trade counter

customer will it run off a 13 amp socket?

  • First use, on a patio

customer can I use it on sandstone?

  • Two years in, fault finding

    customer it's surging, what now?

02 Compliance

Every product will need a Digital Product Passport from 2027.

From 2027, textiles need a Digital Product Passport to enter the EU under the first ESPR delegated acts, with batteries, electronics, machinery and other priority categories following through the late 2020s. A passport is a structured record of where a product came from, what's inside it, what powers it, how to keep it working, and where it goes when it eventually stops.

The card here is a real passport on a real product, and clicking through opens what an auditor sees, what a customer scanning the QR on the label sees, and what anyone curious sees, all at one URL with nothing in the way.

Retail barcodes are becoming QR codes.

Retail point-of-sale across Europe is moving from one-dimensional barcodes to 2D codes under GS1's Sunrise 2027 plan, an advisory industry target rather than a regulation. Most brands are quietly treating it as a printer change, and on the surface they're right. The thing is, a 2D code can carry orders of magnitude more than a barcode used to, and what fits behind it is exactly what we've spent the last few years building.
